The tech who was also the owner of the company came out reapplied the glue and being as it had to set for 24 hours, he showed me how to put it back together myself which saved me $200. How much does dishwasher repair cost?
The visit is a $75 service call that covers the in-home diagnosis and a written estimate. The repair price depends on which part failed, so you get it after the diagnosis. Approve the repair and the $75 is waived.
Why is my dishwasher not draining?
The usual causes are a blocked filter, a clogged or kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump. Cleaning the filter is a safe first check. If water still sits in the bottom, it needs a technician.
Can you fix a dishwasher leaking onto the floor?
Yes, when the leak comes from the dishwasher itself, such as a door gasket, hose or pump seal. If we find the problem is in the house plumbing, we tell you so you can call a plumber.
Is it worth repairing my dishwasher, or should I replace it?
That depends on what failed and the condition of the machine. We diagnose it first, and if the repair costs more than the dishwasher is worth, we tell you on the visit.
